Kevin in the type of man that every woman that he comes in contact with want to take home, keep him and possess him. Does he let that happen?
Women flocked to him like bees to honey. They fall to his feet at the sight of him. As he handed them their drinks, they left their panties as a tip. Although he was aggressive he was still shy and flattered by all the attention he received from the ladies. He couldn't understand why all the attention, he was just like any average male with a large sexual appetite, and had his way of giving the ladies pleasure.
But, there was only one lady that seemed to have caught his eye. He couldn't seem to get her out of his mind. Her sexiness had him off balance. He saw other women, he had even gone on a date or two but his mind was gravitating towards one. Will she pay attention to him or will she tell him to go to hell?

What
do you do when you have not one, but three handsome men vying for
your affection and attention? The answer is not so simple for Tonju.
She has to make a decision between two men from her past and one man
that has currently wanted into her life and wants to be her future.
The question is, "Which man will she choose?”
Trying
to find love was not easy, especially when you're a successful,
attractive lady in your thirties looking for a relationship of
sustenance, after being divorced for five years. Tonju was torn
between three men vying for her attention.
One
was an unhappily married man from her past who was willing to let go
of everything in order to be with her. The second man was her
ex-husband; he never stopping loving her and has realized his
mistakes and will do what has and needs to be done to get her back.
The third man was someone she met on a girl's a night out. So far he
has good qualities, but there's still an air of mystery about him.
Could
either of these men be the love Tonju's looking for? She has
reservations; some good and some not-so-good about the three men, she
had completely broken all ties with one, was leaning closely towards
another one, and was looking sideways at the other one. Could Tonju
truly be experiencing love?
Author Interview
What was your favorite chapter (or part) of Intimate Moments to write and why?
Believe it or not, the introduction was my favorite part of Intimate Moments to write. I enjoyed writing the back story to the book. I really had to use my imagination for that back story.
Complete the sentence: If Intimate Moments were made into a movie, you would cast as the main characters. Why?
That character would be interesting to cast. But, I would have to say that I would cast Thandie Newton. I think she would do the character of Tonju Lowe justice. Ms. Newton is not afraid of playing the role of a strong character and yet a soft character.
What about your characters surprised you while writing The J Spot?
The character of Kevin Stokes surprised me. While I was writing his character he went from one extreme to the other. I had no direction as to where he was going. My fingers had a mind of their own.
What scene of The J Spot was the hardest to write? Why?
The introduction was the hardest to write as I had a different opening in mind and my mind took on another direction. I was sure if the introduction would be a good opening but it seemed to have worked.
How much of you is hidden in the characters in your fiction books?
That’s a good question. I’m asked that often. That’s a question that I leave for the reader to determine. However, some parts of me are in each book, but I won’t say where.
How did you celebrate the sale of your first book?
When I sold my first book, I was in shock that my book sold. I couldn’t believe it. I celebrated by taking myself to Jason’s Deli and having my favorite sandwich, a rueben with sauerkraut, swiss cheese on rye bread. I know that doesn’t sound exciting but it was for me. I love that sandwich.
What’s your biggest challenge as a writer? How did you overcome it, or how are you working to overcome it?
My biggest challenge as a writer is the marketing of my books. I read whatever I get my hands on about book marketing and take whatever class(es) on marketing there are. I follow successful people who are doing well with their marketing endeavors. I have also learned that my books are not for everyone.
Do you prefer to write in silence or with music?
I am able to write in silence or with background noise. Most of the time, I write with the television on or with music in the background. My dogs can be barking and playing and their noise doesn’t bother me. When I get in the writing flow, noise doesn’t bother me.
Finish the sentence: One book I wish I had written is….
War and Peace is one book I wish I had written. That book is a timeless classic. I love the era of the story. Tolstoy told a brilliant story about there being peace at the time of a war. It’s a large book but it well worth the read.
What project are you working on now?
I’m currently working on my third book, Check-Mate.
What is something people would be surprised to know about you?
Some people would be surprised to know that as much as I love to cook and bake, I also like to eat. Sweets are my downfall. I love to try new recipes and to create my own recipes.
Welcome to Kinky Vanilla Romance, Jeané. I am happy to have you here.

ReplyDeleteHi there - Interesting interview. It's funny that characters take on a life of their own, but I think this tends to be the case for many authors. Thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteD. Coto (fictionzeal.com) - Pit Crew
