Wicked Seduction
A Victorian Ménage at the Parisian Exposition
by Kristabel Reed

She came to the Parisian Fair for adventure...what she found far exceeded her every expectation. Sex and adventure abound, and Victoria is caught up in the bliss she, Edmund, and Warren create. She wants more, craves it, but is terrified of the consequences. Scandal is around every corner; when she meets one head on will she flee? Or will she realize the power of her ménage is stronger than merely sex?

Excerpt

Victoria grabbed a thick towel and dried off, wrapping her warm dressing gown over her body. The pleasure from moments ago still hummed through her, but it felt nothing like the pleasure that night had brought her.

It was that pleasure she wanted again, that all-consuming pleasure that made her forget her name and saw her enjoying two men and wanting more from them.

She wandered to the window and the just-rising sun. It spread over Paris like a lover’s caress, illuminating the scene below her as if slowly peeling away layers of a flower.

No one could ever find out about her night with them. Ever. If they did, it’d be worse than being shunned or censured in London. She’d be utterly ruined, devastated. Her beloved, if distant, father would never look at her the same again. With the freedom she so craved, came a risk that could destroy her.

Peter would prove to be her biggest problem. He could never, ever discover what she’d done. He’d use this knowledge, the knowledge of how completely abandoned she’d become to force her into his bed.

Worse, into a marriage with him she loathed.

Author Bio and Links

Kristabel Reed lives on the East Coast and loves to explore the steamier side of historical romance. Historical ménages in particular-they add an element of danger and discovery to make them all the hotter. Contemporary ménages are a world unto themselves, and her upcoming Havenbrook Ménages Series will tell the tale of a small California town.

She loves reading, watching old movies, and anything Cary Grant. And is always interested in talking about erotic romance. Because...yum!

  4. This Parisian Fair was where the Eiffel Tower was built, which I love (not that I've ever been so it's a long-distance love). Other than that, and the fact that so many people went to the fair, and the anonymity of it, I don't know that I have a reason. It went something like: Hmm, when can I set my next menage? I'd done several Regency menages and wanted something different so went with Victorian. Tons of fun and interesting things happened at the end of the 1800s but this really caught my attention. The more I read about it (not that there's tons of stuff one it) the more I fell in love with the setting.
