LGBT Month is hosted by Cayce at Fighting Dreamer and Laura at Laura Plus Books. It runs throughout April and it’s here to celebrate LGBT readers, LGBT authors and of course LGBT books!

Ways to participate in #LGBTApril: discussions, reviews, guest posts, Twitter parties, giveaways, and a read-along. All info can be found on the sign up page.

- Sign ups will be open until the end of April

The next Twitter party will be on April 26. There will be a read-along for Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe from the 21st - 27th.

What will I be doing to participate, you ask?

I will be featuring two books by novelist and screenwriter Shamim Sarif that have been on my to-be-read list for a while: I Can’t Think Straight and The World Unseen.

This week, I am reading I Can’t Think Straight. I'll be featuring its movie adaptation (see synopsis and movie trailer) as part of my new Sunday Cinema post on April 20 (5 pm EST). I'll embed the video in the post so that you can watch the movie along with me.

I missed the first #LGBTApril Twitter party. Hopefully, I will make the next Twitter party on the 26th.

Next week, I will be reading The World Unseen. I'll be featuring its movie adaptation as part of my Sunday Cinema post on April 27.

Please drop by to discuss the books and watch the movies with me.
